Recipient Org: Description | We are a dynamic Lewes-based, community-led support group for the families of children and young people with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). iContact provides a platform from which we can make change happen. We focus our work on three areas: Supporting families in and around Lewes; campaigning for improved services from statutory providers including schools and health; celebrating diversity and raising community awareness. Our vision is of a world where autistic children, young people and adults lead happy lives and reach their potential in everything they do. We run family support groups (evening and morning), workshops & training, events and campaigns, regularly reaching over 50 families per activity. We also work with education, health & leisure providers to improve access to services. |
