Grant to Say Aphasia (360G-SussexCF-A555454)

The charity provides regular drop in groups to allow people with Aphasia to meet others in the same situation. It allows a space for people with Aphasia to communicate with like-minded people and practice their speaking skills in a safe, non-judgemental environment. Funding will provide a speech and language therapist for online group sessions, ensuring service users do not lose their speech progress from reduced social interaction, and to provide weekly online drop in groups.
