Unpaid Carers show selflessness, dedication, and sacrifice yet may feel isolated, exhausted and socially withdrawn. Association of Carers (AOC) recognises that Carers need a break from their role to reduce social isolation, increase support network or participate in personal interests. AOC supports unpaid Carers in East Sussex to continue in their caring role by providing regular opportunities, such as weekly respite services, talking support, and monthly café and lunch clubs, that encourage independence and reduce isolation.
