Recipient Org: Description Centre for Ecotherapy promotes mental health recovery by fostering deep connections between individuals and nature. We provide a range of nature-based therapeutic activities, including weekly Wilderness Plot Drop-In sessions, where participants engage in environmental care, seasonal gardening, and nature crafts. Our allotment-based 6-week monitored programme supports vulnerable people referred by mental health services and combines therapeutic techniques (mindfulness and motivational interviewing), with physically grounding work, digging and nurturing plants and the transformative experience of belonging around our hearth sharing healthy meals. C4E empowers participants to reconnect with their bodies in the natural world, fostering resilience, healing, and holistic well-being.
