Through housing, weekly mentoring support from our volunteer team and engagement with meaningful activity (work experience or volunteering / exercise / cooking / numeracy & literacy), Transom facilitates residents’ journeys out of homelessness towards recovery and independent living. In Hastings, we currently manage 3 properties (on long-term leases), providing accommodation for 7 adults at once. Freeholds are owned by national social enterprise Green Pastures “Sourcing accommodation for those with a criminal background is extremely difficult. Many end up homeless.
