Our work is driven by the needs of adults who are experiencing emotional and mental distress. Our Vision is for all the people in the Harrogate District to have the best possible mental health they can. Our Mission is to promote and improve the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities using a range of activities, therapeutic interventions and support services. Our organisation’s ethos and working practices are based on reducing stigma, developing resilience and enabling people to be included and connected to their communities. We do this with the objective of making it possible for people who experience mental distress to live full lives and to play an active part in society. Our services are open to anyone over 18 years of age who suffers from any kind of mental health disorder. We work in close partnership with other mental health and support providers, such as Harrogate Mental Health Forum, Community Mental Health Teams, North Yorkshire County Council’s Wellbeing Officers, The Orb, Craven and Harrogate District Citizens Advice, Claro Enterprises, Wellspring Therapy Centre and Job Centre Plus to deliver a comprehensive and joined up support offering. |
