Covid19 (360G-TwoRidingsCF-A580867)

Funding to continue to employ a befriending co-ordinator and their associated travel expenses plus volunteer expenses. Demand for befriending has risen since lockdown1 and volunteers are trained by this co-ordinator. Beneficiaries are people suffering with mental health issues who are lonely, isolated, vulnerable. Moving out of COVID the aim is to run a mental health befriending service which will match volunteers with clients who can meet in the community (grab a coffee, go shopping or for a walk) which will help build up social relationships, support people to access services and connect people to their community and improve mental health.
