Recipient Org: Description We are a very small national charity, teaching children who are physically disabled and wheelchair users how to be independently mobile in their wheelchairs and not be reliant on parents/carers to push them around. Our aim is to 'enable independence through mobility' for young wheelchair users, by providing specialist training and expert advice to assist them to take a fuller and more active part in everyday life. We also deliver specialised disability awareness raising sessions in local mainstream schools who have a wheelchair user on their register.
