| Recipient Org: Description | Our core work is to offer impartial advice to older people and people of all ages with a disability. We offer expert advice from an Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapist Assistant and have a huge array of equipment to aid mobility and support people experiencing dementia. The ILC has delivered a benefits support service for people with disabilities in Wiltshire since 2009 and in that time we estimate that we have supported around 5,000 people and secured over £4 million pounds in benefits, by supporting people to claim what they’re entitled to. in 2020 - 2021 we supported 134 people with benefits advice and helped them secure in the region of £465,000. The core of our work is to support those made vulnerable by age or ill health and to help them engage in the community and enjoy fulfilling independent lives. |
