Employability and Good Careers Advice (360G-Walcot-0061E00001DEMz6QAH)

£9,000

Evelyn Grace Academy (EGA) is again applying for funding towards the cost of delivering a 'Work-Related Learning Week' to all pupils in year 10. The programme takes place off-site at Lambeth College and is delivered by an external partner - the youth employment focussed social enterprise 'Spiral'.  The programme is an alternative to work experience and is designed to give students the opportunity to interact with businesses and professionals from a variety of different fields.  Activities aim to raise aspirations and improve employability and so include speed networking, career Q&As, CV support and interview practice with real employers. The week also includes a visit to a university for all year 10 pupils in order to give them an insight into life at and routes into university.
