The project supports the mental health of pupils with severe and profound complex needs, many also with autism. All are non-verbal (or have limited vocalisations). The pupils are secondary school age but have a much lower cognitive age (from 6 months to about 2 years old). Music Making SENse will provide music sessions to encourage the students to communicate and express themselves and to support their mental well-being.
