The experience will bring out the best in our pupils. They will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor activities that they may not have been exposed to before and learn how animals are raised and looked after. They will have the opportunity to live on a working farm and engage in the roles/responsibilities necessary to keep the farm going, such as: Stable yard feeding; Taking care of the stables; Herding animals; Cleaning duties. They will also have a chance to see a working dairy in action; improve their observational skills - Bird watching; Take a trip to an organic chicken farm. The children will also engage in team building exercises/survival skills - Campfire and camp building ? and have plenty of time to explore the farm.
