The stay on the farm will involve children learning about and engaging in the day to day activities of a working farm including care of the farm animals and working in the farm's kitchen garden where the children help grow the vegetables they eat with their meals. Over the past 18 months we have seen the impact that covid has had on our families in the community and the children need this opportunity to access the outdoors more than ever but families are less able to fund such opportunities. These upper key stage 2 children have not had a full academic year of learning since year 2 & year 3 and will benefit from the social experiences of a week spent together.
