We currently have one third of our current cohort who have been identified as PPG. The trip to Nethercott will enable those families and children to ensure that they have the same opportunities as those who are not considered PPG. Nethercott Farm offers children from urban areas (such as Ashmole) a unique opportunity to live and work together for a week on a real farm in the heart of the countryside. We feel that current PPG pupils have the right to this opportunity, hence our application. The cost per child is £300 each which is reduced to £150 for pupil premium families.
