Functional Genomics of the B-G multigene family. (360G-Wellcome-082875_Z_07_Z)
The overall goal is to understand the functional genomics of the B-G multigene family. The three aims are to: 1. examine polygenism in the B-G region by analysing at least one haplotype in addition to the one already characterised 2. examine allelic polymorphism for several B-G genes by analysing sequences from seven standard haplotypes 3. examine potential functions by analysing interactions with candidate ligands, both extracellular and intracellular.
