Forum for Scenarios for Climate and Societal Futures (360G-Wellcome-327093_Z_25_Z)

£31,075

This proposal requests support for 55 Wellcome Trust delegates to attend the third Forum on Scenarios for Climate and Societal Futures at the University of Leeds in July 2025. The requested funds will support delegates to attend the conference following a Wellcome Trust supported workshop for low- and middle- income country researchers focused on climate scenarios. The workshop will be delivered in London by members of the International Committee on New Integrated Climate Change Assessment Scenarios (ICONICS) immediately prior to the Scenarios Forum in Leeds. Attending the Scenarios Forum provides an ideal opportunity for the Wellcome Trust delegates to cement learning from the prior climate scenarios workshop, network with experts in the field of socioeconomic scenarios and contribute to the discussions on the future of scenarios for climate and societal futures. Welcoming these delegates to the conference will ensure critical voices and new expertise engage in and contribute to the development of scenarios for future climate and society.
