To support the costs of The Melting Pot's relocation to new, larger premises in central Edinburgh and the start-up phase of its operations there. The Melting Pot provides co-working facilities for mission-led organisations and entrepreneurs, and actively cultivates a community of social innovators through its member network, events and social innovation incubator programme. The demand for facilities that support agile and distributed working is anticipated to increase during the recovery phase of the coronavirus crisis, and The Melting Pot will help to meet that need in Scotland's social sector.
