Recipient Org: Description | Our vision is ?We believe that a world without domestic abuse is a possibility and changing attitudes will change lives? Our organisation has been working in Clackmannanshire for over 40 years and is the only frontline domestic abuse service within the area. Our aim is to provide relief to women, children and young people, who have been subjected to or are still experiencing domestic abuse so they can become active citizens who are achieving, more resilient, respected and responsible for their own lives. We offer a range of responsive, trauma-informed services including; ? Providing safe, temporary accommodation ? Providing time, safe space and information for women, children and young people who are experiencing domestic abuse. This is a blend of face-to-face work, telephone support and group work ? A proactive Children and Young Peoples? service within schools This is both group work and 1:1 work. We also offer holiday programmes ? Liaising with other services on behalf of women, children and young people ? Providing support and information on access to other relevant services. ? Advocating for women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse within legal and other protection services |
