| Recipient Org: Description | WEvolution's mission is to inspire women facing multiple disadvantages to connect and grow their confidence, skills and income. Through our digital offering, launched under the banner of www.smallpowerfulgroups.com, women come together in small groups, build their emotional and financial resilience and become what they call ?their better selves?: happier, healthier and earning a little income. Once women request to join a group, WEvolution matches them into groups of four to five. From there, we provide digital-first group building content (eg: Magic Eight - a resource that helps women to uncover the purpose of their group, start savings, etc.) and prompts. From our experience, this helps the group have power to create and organise their own community of support and accountability with fierce friendships and trust. We supplement these with in-person or online social events that help build a wider community of small powerful groups. Alongside, WEvolution offers groups continued development opportunities through our confidence building coaching and microbusiness development programmes. |
