To fund additional security measures (primarily security guarding) at a number of Jewish locations in addition to the extensive and ongoing work of the police.This aligns with UK National Security Objective one to protect our people and way of life and,Home office objectives:Reducing and preventing crime, and ensuring that people feel safe in their homes and communities.Keeping the United Kingdom safe from the threat of terrorismGovernment manifesto commitment:We will protect people from physical attack or harassment whether for their sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or disability, and expand funding for and protect places of worship. We will vigorously combat harassment and violence against all religious groups, and against LGBT people.
