On 23rd April 2018 DHSC & DWP announced a jointly funded package of measures to focus on providing support to children living with alcohol-dependent parents as this is a particularly vulnerable group. The grant will fund national capacity building by non-governmental organisations to complement local activity to support these children. The aim of this grant is to harness the creativity and capacity of this sector, to improve not only support for and health and education outcomes of CADeP currently, but to build the evidence base.
