The activities to be funded by this grant include (but not limited to): Arts and Local Programme Staffing costs incurred by Cornwall Council in addition to normal council business This also includes appointing a Chief of Staff to support the Chief Executive of Cornwall Council Additional work related to the Newquay Airport Works where the scope or requirements have changed from those confirmed as part of the main Newquay Airport Works grant ((MHCLG Determination: 31/5482) and where approval is sought and confirmed in writing between the two parties. This also includes the costs of appointing Costain acting as NEC3 site supervisor for the Newquay Airport works, aviation consultancy and programme management liaison across the airport programme Maritime support related to the event Beautification of the Summit routes and specific areas over and above plans the Council already had in place.. Fire and Rescue Service additional support. The costs associated for additional Fire and Rescue Service support will be assured through the Home Offices Fire Funding & Resilience Team prior to reimbursement. Covid testing for the Council, in addition to arrangements in place directly by the G7 Presidency Taskforce Waste, cleaning and maintenance as a result of protests Compensations for Businesses within Cornwall that are adversely affected by the G7 Summit, following Cabinet Offices guidance on compensation and only if signed off by Helen Gibson, Deputy Director Corporate and Strategy, G7 Presidency Taskforce. Local traffic management to support the Summit and mitigate its direct impact on local and regional traffic; works and responsibilities as defined in the Traffic Management Plan, also including costs associated with the on-going development of the Plan.
