ALB-Historic England-East Midlands Historic Environment Research Framework: Update the Period Resource Assessments (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-202201765848-21-22)

The main aim of this project is to prepare updated versions of the Palaeolithic and Later Bronze Age and Iron Age chapters of The Archaeology of the East Midlands, published in 2006. This will take into account significant changes in the evidence base for both periods and stakeholder feedback that the Palaeolithic dating framework should be updated to bring the East Midlands into line with other regions. The opportunity will also be taken to ensure that the regional review includes full consideration of archaeological and palaeoenvironmental data from North and North-East Lincolnshire: areas that were not considered in detail in the 2006 publication.
