This project has been designed to substantially enhance the legacy of Historic England's First World War Submarine Wrecks Project, carried out during 2014-18. The legacy it will produce from data and experience gathered during that project will be sector-specific Historic England advice on the investigation of and investigation-led management of historic submarine wrecks in Englands Territorial Waters, designed for avocational investigators, marine developers and their contractors and national and local curators.
