NFCC protection, Grenfell response and Fire Standards grant (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-202203805596-23-24)

The Protection activity within the NFCC, comprising of Protection Reform Unit, Policy Team and Governance Team and their support of frontline protection work, provision of strategic leadership and delivery of agreed objectives, including, but not limited to: providing central technical support for fire and rescue services providing consistency and coordination to fire safety regulation across the fire and rescue service (FRS) providing stewardship, assurance, and reporting against Home Office Grants to FRS (Protection Uplift, Accreditation and Building Safety Regulator) providing policy and technical advice to government Building the capacity and capability for organisational learning and research whilst transforming and continuously improving in areas such as Prevention, Operational Preparedness, Response and Resilience, Digital and Data, People, Culture and Leadership, Finance, Productivity and Efficiency, and responding to the recommendations from the Grenfell and Manchester Arena inquiries and His Majestys Inspectorate of Constabulary of Fire and Rescue Service (HMICFRS) spotlight report on culture.
