As committed in the Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls Strategy, the Home Office will provide an additional £1.5 million funding for 'by and for' service provision and further increase funding for valuable specialist services for victims of violence against women and girls. £300,000 of the £1.5 million has already been provided to increase the £2 million Specialist Fund (2021-22) launched by the Ministry of Justice with Comic Relief.
