The 3Cs initiative will usethis funding to:Test, trial and inform best practice approaches for coastal coordination in England.The overall ambition is for a strengthened and well supported national framework coveringthe entire English coast to integrate place-based delivery for coastal ecosystems andcommunities.Determine how the existing activities of those involved on coastal governance canbe strengthened to better coordinate and achieve improvements to coastal environmentsthat are linked to enhanced social and economic outcomes, and how governance systemscan be capacitated to facilitate this process.Explore how to make better use of resources, share ownership of complex issuesand maximise outcomes through a collaborative approach of organisations from the publicsector, private sector and civil society.
