Environmental land management pilot scheme: Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) - NSA P1 (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-202211850159-21-22)

The aim of the SFI scheme is to provide funding for farmers to make environmental improvements through activities such as improving wildlife habitats, maintaining and improving soils and encouraging the sustainable management of woodland. It will pay farmers for actions taken to manage their land in an environmentally sustainable way. Actions will be grouped into simple packages to make it as easy as possible for farmers to identify what actions are best suited to their land; the 2021 pilot is designed as a learning mechanism to inform future rounds of the scheme
