Evaluate the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of a new smartphone app to reduce gambling addiction (and the full range of sub-clinical, harmful gambling behaviours) and PTSD symptoms with an innovative clinical therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in veterans with co-existing diagnoses. ACT seeks to increase psychological flexibility and willingness to experience unpleasant sensations by tackling avoidance which lies at the core of suffering with PTSD and gambling addiction.
