RPA DOMESTIC SCHOOL MILK SCHEME (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-2023111093626-22-23)

This scheme supports distribution of drinking milk and other milk products to school children aged 3 to 11 years (excluding milk reimbursed under national Nursery Milk Scheme) by paying a subsidy for each portion of milk consumed. Subsidising the cost of a daily portion of milk aims to boost consumption of dairy produce and encourage good dietary habits by highlighting the contribution of dairy produce to nutritional health. Participation in the scheme is optional for individual schools. Schools can make their own arrangements for purchasing milk or work with a supplier or local education authority to obtain milk and collect the subsidy. RPA administers the scheme for England, Scotland and Wales
