The overall ambition is for a strengthened and well supported national framework covering the entire English coast to integrate place-based delivery for coastal ecosystems and communities. Determine how the existing activities of those involved on coastal governance can be strengthened to better coordinate and achieve improvements to coastal environments that are linked to enhanced social and economic outcomes, and how governance systems can be capacitated to facilitate this process.
