Whilst our universal suicide prevention training programme has led to almost 8000 people in Lancashire & South Cumbria being upskilled to be confident to hold conversations about suicide, wed like to focus suicide prevention services on groups of people at higher risk of suicide. The fund will enable us to develop services to better meet the needs of caregivers who have raised with us the lack of support and information available to parents to help them understand their childs mental health and feel equipped to manage self-harm behaviours at home.
