ALB-Historic England-The Ghost Signs Project (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-2024041305504-23-24)

£13,167

The goal of this project is to create a curated digital archive of these signs so that they can be preserved, researched, and displayed for the public in an engaging way. This archive (a publicly accessible website) would also serve as a way to investigate them and tour them, both physically and digitally. The physical tour would be done via a map of the ghost signs locations so one could take a self-guided walking tour. This would be supported by short podcasts about each sign and its history, which would be hosted on the website.
