The purpose of the proposed funding is to support the NSPAs crucial role in the suicide prevention landscape allowing the NSPA to:Drive change by fostering greater collaboration across sectors;Share information, good practice and resources - building both capacity and knowledge;Provide a collective voice to inform national and local policy and practice, including implementation of the new National Suicide Prevention Strategy;Further grow and diversify the Alliances membership;Support the NSPAs Lived Experience Network, which was set up in 2020, and enable the NSPA to provide insights to DHSC from that Network to support policy development.
