The DII programme provides officers with the digital skills and capabilities they need to undertake investigations effectively and seeking to understand the digital skills landscape within forces. 2024/25 will focus on delivering three areas of activity;A) Raising awareness of the opportunities and challenges presented by AI to policing and providing skills training.B) Delivery of the Digital Maturity Assessment. This is a substantive survey of forces which will provide an evidence base for police forces to intelligently direct their resources better on digital skills matters, the College to focus learning products based on need and the Home Office to direct its funding in a more targeted manner going into the next Spending Review.C) Maintenance of existing products including Operation Modify and Cyberdigitools app to keep them up to date and relevant for policing.
