Veteran Housing Capital Grant Programme (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-2024111319956-23-24)

Under this programme the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust will award grants on behalf of the Office for Veterans Affairs towards Veteran Strategy theme link: Making a home in civilian society. The £20m Capital Grant Programme is designed to ensure veterans have access to good quality, affordable, housing that meets their needs, and contribute to addressing veteran homelessness, by providing grants through an open bidding programme, for the building of new homes or refurbishment of existing homes that are made available to homeless veterans, or veterans in housing need. The programme will focus on - Increasing the number of homes available to veterans to rent - Increasing the number of bed spaces in supported housing provision - Enabling refurbishment of existing housing stock to ensure that the property is at a good standard, energy efficient, and increases accessible housing stock for veterans with disabilities Organisations eligible to apply to this grant programme include: - Charities with experience of delivering housing to veterans - Housing Associations with experience of delivering housing to veterans - Registered Social Housing Providers with experience delivering housing to veterans.
