POLICE & CRIME COMMISSIONER FOR SUSSEX (THE) (G) (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-2025071627013-24-25)

The Western Balkans (WB) Subject Matter Experts (SME) project is piloting an approach to intelligence development and sharing, focusing on Serious and Organised Crime (SOC) originating from the WB region. The desired change the project is aiming to achieve is the reduction in the level and impact of SOC threat from WB Organised Crime Groups (OCGs) and improvements in our strategic understanding of WB criminal business models. Whilst ensuring that the most prevalent groups are disrupted and brought to justice, the project will simultaneously seek to deter future upstream flows to the UK with the UK seen as a hostile place to operate in.
