Transition to eVisa Fund (360G-cabinetoffice-G2-GA-2025111636066-24-25)

Funding Organisation
£19,987

To complete the roll-out of eVisas, which are an electronic record of immigration status accessible via GOV.UK, for the majority of immigration products by the end of 2024. eVisas have been issued to individuals granted status under the EU Settlement Scheme since 2018 and have since been extended to other routes such as the Hong Kong (BNO) Route, the Ukraine Schemes and EEA nationals coming to work or study in the UK. As part of the rollout, extant leave holders who currently use a physical document to prove their immigration status, usually in the form of an ink stamp or vignette in their passport, a biometric residence permit (BRP) or a biometric residence card (BRC) are required to transition to the digital system before their physical documents expire, by creating an online account through which they can access their eVisa.
