The Citizens Advice 'Help to Claim' partnership has been providing support for all people to make a new claim to Universal Credit since April 2019. This support meets the Department's policy objective to ensure that as UC continues to roll out, those citizens that require extra help get the support they need to make a new claim to UC. This also support the HMT objective to build and increase claimants' financial resilience.
