The purpose of this Grant is to fund the project, East of England Touring Route is to create a new 300-mile touring route that spans the length of Eastern England from London to Northumberland. Targeting the customer segments of Cultural Adventurers and Mature Experience Seekers, the Route is aimed at German inbound visitors in the first instance combining the familiar holiday concept of touring with a product mix discovering the quintessential England. The project has an emphasis on helping businesses that do not currently operate in the international market to increase their capabilities so that they can be booked by the independent traveller and through the travel trade.
