To facilitate the Crimestoppers Trust to enable people, who for whatever reason are unwilling to make direct contact with police, to provide useful information about crime whilst remaining anonymous.For Crimestoppers to provide opportunities for the public to volunteer for the charity ? helping to cut crime and keep communities safe by giving time, sharing skills and raising money.To support the implementation of the Modern Crime Prevention Strategy by giving particularly vulnerable and ?at risk? groups a way of giving information about crime anonymously. To support the strategy?s promotion and dissemination within the charity and to its crime prevention and community safety partners.Some activity will include providing targeted information and communications for particular audiences and advising the Home Office on operational and policy issues
