The purpose of this Grant is to support a programme of marketing and communications activities aimed at raising awareness about and promoting The Great Exhibition of the North. Newcastle-Gateshead was chosen to host the exhibition in 2018 showcasing the great creative, cultural and design sectors in the city and across the whole of the North of England as an opportunity to boost investment and tourism in the region.
