Social Tech Trust Equity Investment Fund Support (360G-cabinetoffice-GA-170515)

This 300k grant would serve two main purposes in the foundation of this fund:Support the funds setup costs (150k) - e.g. building the financial model, appointing relevant advisors, developing legal documents, etcEstablishing the technical assistance function (150k) - Early stage ventures require a range of support, other than financial (e.g. business planning; increasing diversity; legal advice, measuring social impact, etc). Hence, this funding would be spent on scaling up the existing technical assistance function (known as Funder Plus) with the intention of launching it in February/ Marc. This function would not solely support the proposed 30m investment fund but also other ventures supported by Social Tech Trust, for example, from their Tech to Unite Us grant fund.
