Us too - People with learning disabilities speaking up on domestic abuse (360G-cabinetoffice-GA-202357)

Association for Real Change will deliver a series of awareness-raising sessions on abusive situations to women with a learning disability who at risk of abuse. These will help women to recognise abuse, report it, and access support so that they can respond appropriately and reduce their risk of further abuse. The project will also guide and train local learning disability and specialist women agencies, so that they are better equipped to identify and support women in the South West and share the good practice and learning UK-wide via its members, to improve policy and practice. The grant will cover project salaries, associated project costs and evaluation costs.
