International Teacher Recruitment (360G-cabinetoffice-GA-287273)

£2,400

The STEM International Teacher Recruitment Programme in AY18/19 provided all secondary state-funded schools in England access to an international recruitment programme to recruit qualified maths and physics teachers from Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Australia. The programme funded the recruitment costs for schools and an acclimatisation package for the international teachers.8 School-led networks were appointed (all of which were Teaching Schools) to work alongside a DfE appointed recruitment provider to source suitable candidates. The networks also worked with maths and physics subject specific associations to design and provide an acclimatisation and continuing professional development package and on-going support for placed teachers. Their grant offer letters contained the same information, hence only one row completed for this scheme.
