Recipient Org: Description Wolvercote Young People's Club is a charity that works with young people to provide positive activities and informal education in a fun and safe environment. We run youth club sessions four days a week with children and young people ranging from 7-19 years. We feel that we are a real asset to the community. We find that members of the north Oxford Community are happy to give their time and financial support to the endeavors of Wolvercote Young People's Club. The club has developed greatly since 1939 when it was first set up as a Boys Club, however we are very proud of of heritage of delivering high quality youth work to local people. We currently work with over 200 children and young people in the OX2 area, including Wolvercote, Cutteslowe, Jericho and Waterways. We have also been commissioned by Kirtlington Youth Club and Oxford City Council to provide some of their youth services, working with an additional 80 children and young people.
