Building capacity and expertise in leading singing with children (360G-phf-30633)

The project will work with sixteen schools to develop skills and confidence in teachers to equip them to lead singing in their schools with children, transforming the learning environment, bringing holistic health and social skills and impacting on the whole curriculum. Once the skills have been embedded the project will provide a range of opportunities to further develop awareness and experience of different styles of delivery and genres by working with a broad range of practitioners. The work will be punctuated with and culminate in collaborative performances music venues in the area.
