The group will provide support for local people experiencing mental health issues such as hopelessness, depression and anxiety. The local impact of rural isolation, deprivation and lack of services is profound and far reaching and affects mental health. Many people experience depression, substance abuse, unemployment, anxiety and suicide. Support will include the provision of a safe place for people to socialise and engage in support activities. Young people and young parents will receive targeted support.
