This funding is for a project for older people living in rural communities and who have experienced or are experiencing difficulties common in later life. These might include bereavement, a diagnosis of dementia, or needing to care for a partner or spouse. The project is designed to provide participants with information and advice as well as social activities and volunteering opportunities. The aim is to help participants through these difficult periods and to build new relationships.
