This funding will develop the hospice's 'Support at Home' service to reach more people and enhance their quality of life. At present, their 26 volunteers deliver one-to-one support to patients and their loved ones who are already under the care of the hospice. This project will develop relationships with local communities to provide social, emotional and practical support to anyone who is affected by a life-limiting illness, including carers, in safe, accessible spaces.
